PhD in Electronics and Telecommunications Eng. at the Nanobiosensors and Bioanalytical Applications group in the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain in 2018. He worked on the integration of a lab-on-a-chip biosensor based on photonic nano interferometric devices with applications on environmental sensing and human health. He received his Master’s degree with Honors under the Erasmus Mundus program “Molecular Nano and Bio Photonics for Telecommunications and Biotechnology” from Ecole Normale Superieure Paris-Saclay, in Paris, France (2012) and He holds an Engineering degree with Honors in Electronics and Telecommunications from Monterrey Tech (ITESM Monterrey 2006), México.
He is among the promoters of a group of bio – and technology enthusiasts being a founder of DIY bio- community lab in Barcelona. He has been selected as one of the 100 leaders younger than 35 years old in the field of Biotechnology in Latin America. Since summer 2018, He joined the team at American School Foundation of Chiapas where He is leading the design and implementation of STEM curricula from elementary to high school and building a bio-fab-lab for high school students.
